Feb. 11

I'm not as faithful as I should be on this blog I guess, but life does get boring at times. Yet, simultaneously I am consistently occupied in endeavors of self improvement such as guitar, working out, and school. This has been a spiritually challenging month for me. I went from a state of struggling and questioning with God to one of submission and childlike faith. This change took place primarily because of the principles learned and applied at the Navigator's conference. It was about getting your heart right before God. Humbling your self and allowing the Holy Spirit to take over. Many things that were taught I had heard before, and then again many things were deeper insights that I had never thought of. But I believe the reason it was so powerful and really changed me is because of the sincerety of the people there which invited the Holy Spirit to come into the place and work on renewing hearts. I hope that whatever you're struggling you can somehow apply the above facts. That's my mini-sermon for the day.
Now for a question: "A small can is hanging from the ceiling. A rifle is aimed directly at the can. At the instant the gun is fired, the can is released. Ignore air resistance and show that the bullet will always strke the can, regardless of the initial speed of the bullet. Assume that the bullet strkes the can before the can reaches the ground." If any of you geniuses work out a proof let me know. Rock On. Josh Inge
