Good Morning Feb. 18
The morning at first glance seems inviting, then I step outside and look to the North. From there comes dark clouds riding swiftly upon the steady force of the wind. Fear creeps into the depths of my bones as I realize that these merciless bearers of rain will descend upon me and release their tons of contents upon me with indisputable vengeance. What is to be done? How am I to make through the day if my hair gets wet? I shall defeat nature. It may be massive and unstoppable, but not inescapable. I shall don my 87 cent Wal-mart rain poncho and stay dry as a bug in bed. I like that idea better, why don't I just stay at home in bed? No, rain can not stop me. I shall cover myself in the transparent yellow plastic and look like a cross between a convict on the side of the road picking up garbage and a walking deformed banana. Looks are of no consequence, I shall beat the rain. One more trial in life that I will over come.
Ok, that was interesting, or weird, or both. Just have a blessed day, rain or shine.
