April 10
Today was a rough day. I've always said that I never have bad days, and I don't. But somedays I feel compelled to be in a sour mood, not because I mind what happened to me, but because if I was all happy and jumping around after not getting to do something people would think I didn't care. I'm going to have to figure out how to get around that.
The day started off well. We had a good family devotion and then went to Spring Creek for lunch. We came home and I played guitar and did some physics for a few hours. We left for our Sunday afternoon bike ride. We got 2.5 miles down the trail and it started pouring down rain. We turned around and went home. I then watched a really old John Wayne movie. It was the only really bad John Wayne movie I've ever seen. Time to leave for the Shepherd's. I havn't seen them in over half a year and was really stoked about going. We got the end of the neighborhood and it was raining so hard we turned around. Literally less than a minute later the inpentratable rain and hail had stopped. Dad checked the weather and after much turmoil we decided to just stay home. Then we went and got dinner at Sonic and rented five movies (a record). I'm going to go watch Gladiator. I'll make it some day. - Josh
