Say On
I try to read my One Year Bible everday (I'm already 10 days behind this year.) and then listen to the Bible on cd while I drive to school. I was listening to Luke this morning and Jesus went to Peter and said, in essence, "I want to tell you something." Peter responded, "Say on." Jesus then went into a parable of, if I remember correctly, of how two men owed a man money. One man owed much and the other a small sum. The creditor forgave both of the men theirs debts. Jesus asks, "Which one will be more grateful?" Peter responded, "The one who had a large debt." After all the years of reading through the Bible I've never really remembered this parable. It answers a lot of questions for me which I will expound on at a later time. The main point now is when Jesus says he wants to tell you something, just say "say on." We might learn something from the creator of the universe.
