March 7
Turned in my paper on Antigone today, wasn't quite as happy with it as my last paper. About to start reading Hemmingway's "The Sun Also Rises." The title was actually taken from Ecclesiastes but this suicidal liberal was a far shot from anything Christian. Well, good times, about to go to lab and demonstrate my mastery of the concept of centripetal force and then hit the gym. Work out from about 5:00 - 7:00 then go study trig. in the library and finally get home around 10:00.
I went to a worldview weekend like 9 days ago and received some convicting teaching on witnessing. Consequently I've been trying to witness a little more and have had quite a week of it. My friend and I talked to a devout atheist who was such a moral relativist that he thought that Hitler's atrocities were justifiable. Then I preached Jesus, as opposed to the blessed mother Mary, to some Jr. High catholic guys. Interesting stuff, quite thrilling really, and most vital for a healthy spiritual life. If you aren't growing and bearing fruit you're lying dormant like the man who buried his talent in the ground. The man who buried his talent was thrown out into the weeping and gnashing of teeth. You ever thought about the gnashing of teeth part? It's like ever one in hell is crazy (who wouldn't be in such a place?) and gnashes their teeth, maybe that's where "crazy as hell" comes from.
Peace out, Josh
